Quinones Promociones Press Conference turns into a Photo Shoot

Wednesday, at the Press Conference at La Oficina on Avenida Revolución in Downtown Tijuana, for the latest Quinones Promociones Boxing Show of Friday, July 27, 2018, the stunning, young lady on the right stole the show with her poses, not unlike a top fashion model. According to Forbes Magazine, the top models now make in excess of $5 million dollars a year. Ring card girls might want to rethink their earlier thoughts of forming a union.

“And, what am I chopped liver?” With her partner in crime getting all the attention, the other young lady started giving the members of the Press the evil eye.

At first, the photos were taken surreptitiously, the way a hungry mountain lion might sneak up on its prey. But she was more alert than that and saw the cameras’ flash going off.

Boxers on the fight card include (l to r) heavyweight Luis David “Birrias” Rodriguez, super middleweight Romario “Little Boy” Ovalle, welterweight Manuel Tapia, featherweight Julio “Sexy Boy” Robles and heavyweight Misael “Mimoso” Sanchez.

Once the WBC Champion Keon “Neon” Johnson, visiting from Indianapolis, Indiana, got a hold of that microphone, nobody could get it away from him.

Being just 18-years-old and already having 10 wins and 9 KOs without a defeat, super bantamweight Marco “El Chorizo” Muniz (r) had a lot to add to the discussion.

Like Muniz, Julio “Sexy Boy” Robles, a veteran of 22 bouts at the ripe old age of 22, had a lot to add to the discussion once he had control of the microphone.

Coach Victor Manuel Godoy mentioned how proud he was of his stepson’s progress, “a winner of 7 of his last 8 bouts, the boxing fans can expect another great performance on Friday night.”

Being consummate professionals, both ladies came forward to join the show’s Promoter, Gabriel Quinones, to invite all fight fans, “To a show, you certainly don’t want to miss.”

Here is a copy of the Promoter’s worksheet as of Wednesday, July 25, 2017. By Thursday morning, the remaining out of town boxers will have arrived for the 12-noon weigh-in plus last minute physicals. There is certainly a lot of work that goes into producing such a show.
