Ringside seats, no charge, for a Chris Martin fight?

Grand opportunity – October 1, 2014, Chris “Marvellous” Martin of Chula Vista, CA is one of the featured fighters on the undercard of this ESPN2 offering.
That would be something right? Well, for all you Chris “Marvellous” Martin fans, tonight, Wednesday, October 1st that’s the offer. The San Diego Kid from nearby Chula Vista, CA is on TV tonight in a bout being broadcast from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and even though the good, Ringside Seats seats are going for $325 or more, you can stay at home and watch it on cable TV, not Pay-Per-View, for Free. Watching the bout in the comfort of your own home – que un sueño!

Mix and match: Chris Martin’s most memorable fights: the recent unanimous decision loss in Ontario, CA to Enrique Quevedo, the decision loss in April, 2012 in Miami to Luis Orlando Del Valle, the draw in January, 2012 to Teon Kennedy, the loss to and later defeat of Jose Angel Beranza in 2013 and finally the night Martin took Chris Avalos to school in 2010.
The downside? Martin’s opponent, Miguel Marriaga from Cartagena, Colombia is the current WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Champion and after 18 fights is undefeated and has 16 knockouts which gives him an 88.89% knockout percentage. However, Mr. Marriaga may just be a paper tiger after fighting only seven opponents with a winning record. Martin has fought 24 opponents with a winning record and has never, ever been stopped or God forbid knocked out.

Getting back to our options of driving forever or the ultimate dream itinerary: You could now be in your car traveling at light speeds up the CA Interstate 5, taking the San Diego Freeway (405) north and exiting to the Santa Monica Fwy (Route 10 West), then exiting at South Bundy Drive continuing on to Airport Avenue, a trip, that if you were so foolish to make, would take you a minimum of three hours during off-peak hours (when is that?).
Or, you could stay put, and relax in the comfort of your own home, relax in your Stratolounger, and watch the show on ESPN2, live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Plus they have these two high-ranking middleweights Hassan N’Dam (30-1, 18 KOs) and Curtis Stevens (27-4 20 KOs) facing off in a mandatory bout to earn a shot at the IBF Middleweight World Championship Belt, currently held by Sam Soliman (44-1 18 KOs).
Promoter King Sports said the event originating from the Barker Hangar promises to be an epic night of fights that will be televised live on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. Pacific Coast Time.
King Sports stated they were now pulling from an unprecedented talent pool that includes Interim World Cruiserweight Champion Youri Kalenga, and the number seven Heavyweight in the world, Charles Martin (18-0-1 16 KOs) to create these exciting nights of boxing.
King Sports bragged it had stunned the boxing world by winning the sealed bid against Main Events for the right to promote this event.
“And we are thrilled to televise this show,” said Brian Kweder ESPN’s senior director of programming and acquisitions. “We’re pleased to be a part of Michael King’s first televised event, and without question we’re expecting an outstanding line-up of fights.”
